Fake Frank is a high energy indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York.
They sound “retro” and reminiscent of early alternative rock. Still, Fake Frank is refreshing within the indie scene, borrowing musical ideas from fusion, classic rock, and country.
Founded by singer/songwriter Dan Avedis Masotti and drummer Harrison Kravis, Fake Frank started recording for its debut album before the two headed to college in 2016. Their ska-influenced single, “It’s All In My Head”, caught the attention of critics and in March 2017, Deli Magazine named Fake Frank “New England’s Emerging Artist of the Month”. In early 2018, they finished and released their self-titled album. That Summer, Fake Frank toured the Northeast in support of the album. The band truly stands out live and has energized audiences in New England, upstate New York, and the greater NYC area.
After a brief hiatus followed by more than a year without live music, Fake Frank, now with Desmond Smith on bass and Robbie Woll on guitar, is back and excited to share what they worked on in lockdown. Their new music is true to the band’s roots but demonstrates maturity as well as a new appreciation for stripped-down, raw orchestrations.
Fueled by punchy bass, melodic lead guitar, and pronounced moody vocals with meaningful lyrics, a truly dynamic range of soft to heavy Alternative Rock defines the unique, tight sound of Seize Atlantis. Formed in Glens Falls, New York in 2018, Seize Atlantis are a 4 piece band consisting of close friends James Mullen (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Mike Dardas (bass guitar/backing vocals), Luc Bourgault (lead guitar), and Cody Platt (drums/percussion).
The Pine Boys are an eclectic combination of alternative rock, funk and hip-hop. They blend character driven story telling with memorable riffs resulting in something truly their own. The group was founded by multi-instrumentalists Brett Maney and Andrew Cerone in 2016. When they started playing live in 2019 they added long time friend Sam Lasky on Keytar. Since then they have played all over Upstate NY – anywhere from basements to bars and released 6 albums.
Over twenty of their songs are part of an interconnected story universe set in the fictional town of “Vacationland” (The group’s hometown and place of origin). Vacationland is also the place / mindset you travel to when you see the group in concert. They feel that seeing a live Pine show should serve as a time to take a vacation from your normal reality and temporarily venture into their world.
